THE DARKNESS To Embark On First U.S. Tour

Rising British rockers THE DARKNESS will embark on their first U.S. tour on March 26 in Milwaukee, according to Billboard.com. 18 dates have been confirmed, with the trek set to wrap on April 19 in Denver.

THE DARKNESS will be touring in support of their debut album, "Permission To Land", which has sold 165,000 copies in the U.S. since its summer release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

As previously reported, THE DARKNESS received four nominations for the 2004 Brit Awards, to be held Feb. 17 at Earl's Court in London.
